Evaluating NU-Mail
The evaluation version of NU-Mail has the
following restrictions:
- It will process approximately 500
messages before expiring.
- It adds an Evaluation note to the base
of each message it processes.
Apart from the above it is a fully
functional 20 user Professional version of NU-Mail.
You will need the following to run NU-Mail:
- WIndows 95b, 98, NT 4 SP3+ or WIndows
2000.
- Dial Up Networking installed.
- 32+ mb RAM.
- Pentium 200+
- 30+mb free disk space.
- Modem/ISDN terminal adaptor if DUN
connections are to be used.
Once you have downloaded the software do
the following:
- Create a new folder and copy the
downloaded file into it.
- Run the self extracting archive to
unpack the software.
- Run 'SETUP.EXE' and follow the on-screen
prompts.
- Run the 'Configure Gateway' option
from the NU-Mail entry in Programs menu. This will ask
you to define the Administrator User ID and Password.
- We recommend that you set NU-Mail up
using the Standard User Interface (default) before trying
the Professional features.

Evaluation Special
Do you want to get your evaluation of NU-Mail
off to a flying start then send us an e-mail containing the
details listed below. We will configure you a system and send you
a pre-configured database that you can plug into the evaluation
system. Send us the following:
- Details of the local mail boxes you
require (User Id, name and password for each).
- Your mail domain(s).
- Details of how you forward mail to the
Internet (via an ISP SMTP relay or direct). If mail is
forwarded via your ISPs SMTP relay what is the domain of
their relay server. If mail is forwarded directly what
are the IP addresses of the DNS servers to be used for
looking up the appropriate SMTP mail servers?
- Details of how you receive mail from
the Internet? If via POP3 we need the User Id and (optionally)
the password of each mail box that mail is to be
collected from?
