Nu-Mail Version 1.3
released The
following new features have been added to NU-Mail:
|
| |
- Virus scanning of e-mail
attachments using Sophos SAPI (the virus scanner
needs to be purchased seperately).
- New user interface enabling
easier configuration. The Local and External Mail
dialogs in the Standard version have been merged
into one tabbed dialog box. The Professional user
interface is now a diagram identifying the
components that make up NU-Mail and how messages
flow through the system.
- Wizard to kick start initial
configuration.
- Facilities for synchronising
address lists between multiple NU-Mail
installations. This enables common e-mail address
lists that are used at multiple sites for
identifying local and remote addresses to be
automatically synchronised.
- Robot to execute external
programs. This enables the contents of messages
to be processed by other applications (e.g.
orders can be received by e-mail and
automatically passed to an order processing
system or form data can be received from a web
site and passed to a custom written program for
processing).
